Integrating with existing PHP / MySql

Forum » PHP / MySQL » Integrating with existing PHP / MySql

Hi,

I have a pre-existing site and have been looking for a bolt-in CMS which would allow non techies to update simple content such as page text. CouchCMS seems ideal but there is a catch: The existing site already utilises PHP and MySql to load some of its content. I'm not sure if this is an important detail but this is achieved with custom code, not another CMS.
The content which is already being loaded does not need to be editable by the users who will be making page edits , so I would like to leave the existing functionality of the site alone if possible.

For More Details:
Digital production agency

Hey,

you could just use https://www.cmsimple.org/en/ or http://www.cmsmadesimple.de/dokumentation.html )if google translate is enough or you are german speaking).

Other than that I'd recommend using WordPress, which you don't need to install and find a lot of easy documentation for, too. Just check out wordpress.org or google yourself through the approaches.

Edit: I'd suggest you let go of PHP due to security flaws that are not easy to understand, prevent or fix. May be a simple Node.js application with a user management would suit you, like https://sailsjs.com/ (or just search for Node.js / Angular Boilerplate, there are millions).
